Herbal
way to treat hair problems -
By Seelen Sakran
HAVING been in business for almost 15 years, Nita Gosalia
of Neeta's Herbal is adamant that one of the main causes
of hair problems is the lifestyle one leads.
"Be it Caucasians, African Americans, Asians- it's
all the same. They can suffer from scalp disorders, hair
loss, thinning, fungal infection and itchiness" .
The problem has become bigger over the years, and it is
all due to lifestyles. Their lifestyles are the main culprit
of such conditions , which can cause embarrassment if
left unchecked," she said.
A balanced diet and stress management can go a long way
in combating hair problems, which include rashes, dry
scalps, scaliness, dandruff, patch baldness, graying,
damaged hair and spilt ends. She said while there are
many over-the-counter solutions available in the market,
one should not buy a product without first knowing the
cause of the problem."Those who buy such products
may find temporary relief by applying the solutions after
reading the instructions but in the long run, it can backfire,"
she said. She advise consumers to seek professional advise
so that a correct assessment of the problem and prescription
can be made. Her business's forte are Ayurvedic treatments
which have drawn wide interest from global users.
Nita opened a branch in London a year ago.
Her United States branch has been in business for five
years. She now plans to open other branches in Indonesia,
India and Britain. On how she would penetrate the Indian
market as there are many Ayurvedic treatments available
there. She says the systematic approach she uses will
give her a jump start. "we will find out the cause
of the problem and carry out consultations and follow-ups,"
she said.
She said competition was good and healthy but given the
profileration of drugs and hair treatments in the market
, consumers should be careful about their side-effects
which can be harmful in the long run."Customers must
be worry-free when they start these treatments, especially
if they are taken orally." All her treatments, which
are herbal-based , are for external use and applied topically.
